A LITTLE GUIDANCE
How to use this tool
- Choose a local still image containing a QR code.
- Read the code and inspect the decoded text.
- Copy the result or explicitly open a decoded HTTP(S) link.
A worked example
A QR image containing javascript:alert(1) displays inert text and never executes or navigates.
What to know
The image is processed on your device. Links are never opened automatically and no camera permission is requested. A sharp, complete QR image with a quiet border improves decoding.
Supported inputs and limits
Still PNG/JPEG/WebP up to 10 MiB and 12 megapixels; one QR result per image.
Where is my data processed?
In your browser. Cloud saving is optional: only the supported inputs, settings or files you explicitly choose are uploaded. Download or save anything you want to keep before closing the page. Read our privacy details.
