How to use this tool

  1. Enter a HEX, RGB or HSL color, optionally with alpha.
  2. Convert to see its swatch and equivalent values.
  3. Copy the format you need.

A worked example

#ff0000 → rgb(255, 0, 0) and hsl(0, 100%, 50%).

What to know

Supports 3/4/6/8-digit HEX and comma- or space-separated RGB/HSL notation. Color names, display-p3 and other wide-gamut formats are not accepted. Eight-digit HEX rounds alpha to 8-bit precision.

Supported inputs and limits

sRGB colors; RGB 0–255, saturation/lightness 0–100%, alpha 0–1.
