A LITTLE GUIDANCE

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a quantity and source/destination cooking units.
  2. For mass-to-volume conversion, supply the ingredient density in g/mL.
  3. Calculate and check the units in the result.

A worked example

With an explicitly entered density of 0.5 g/mL, 100 mL → 50 g; without density the cross-dimension conversion is unavailable.

What to know

US customary cups, tablespoons and teaspoons are used, not metric or imperial spoon standards. Converting mass and volume requires density; there is no universal flour or sugar conversion. Packing and moisture change density.

Supported inputs and limits

Listed metric mass/volume and US customary volume units; nonnegative quantities.
