How to use this tool

  2. Choose the output format and transparency background for JPEG.
  3. Convert and inspect the preview before downloading.

A worked example

A transparent PNG converted to JPEG uses the selected white background, not an accidental black background.

What to know

PNG supports transparency and lossless pixel storage. JPEG uses lossy compression and an opaque background. WebP export requires browser support. HEIC, GIF and SVG are not accepted.
